Most orders placed prior to 1:00pm PST will be shipped the same day. However, during peak periods, this could be changed to as early as 8:00am PST. Every order, unless otherwise specified, is shipped UPS Ground. FedEx services are also available. Please ask for transit times for time sensitive shipments.
Orders calling for shipment by the United States Postal System will be shipped Priority Mail, unless otherwise specified. All USPS Services may not be available in our area or at the delivery address. Please call for service details. Postal shipments leave our facility once a day, typically after 11:00 AM. This may cause USPS Express Shipments to be delayed by one day. Please note that all USPS orders received after 9:30 AM may not ship until the following day. If you are unsure as to whether a time sensitive shipment will arrive on time via USPS, please contact us prior to placing your order.
Claims for shortages or damaged shipments must be made with the carrier immediately upon receipt to insure proper claim processing. We will gladly assist in these matters in any way possible. ALL matters are handled on a case-by-case basis.
ORM-D (Other Regulated Materials-Domestic) is a marking on packages shipped within the United States that contain:
The majority of the ORM-D products that we carry are from brands such as: Birchwood Casey, Hoppe's, Kleen-Bore, and Break Free. ORM-D products cannot be shipped via air. This includes FedEx Air, FedEx Air Saver, UPS 2 Day Air, UPS 3 Day Select, USPS Express, and USPS Priority.
Please be reminded that Gun Accessory Supply will choose the most economical carrier for all Prepaid and/or Discounted shipments leaving our facility. Currently we utilize UPS, USPS, and Fedex for these shipments, at our discretion, based on cost. If a customer requests a carrier that does not happen to be the most cost effective for a particular shipment, that customer will be responsible for 100% of the shipping cost along with any add-on charges.
Recently Fedex has been unwilling to accept responsibility for missing or “lost” packages that have been driver released at the destination. The only way to insure receipt, and for Fedex to accept responsibility, is to choose the “Signature Required” option which increases the shipping cost between $3 and $5 per package. Based on this added fee, Fedex will undoubtedly price themselves out of our prepaid and/or discounted options. Customers who “require” Fedex as their primary shipper will be impacted by the addition of freight charges to their invoice.
In addition, Third Party Billing Customers should be reminded when selecting a carrier they are 100% responsible for the shipment once it leaves our facility. Gun Accessory Supply is not responsible for that shipment, including delivery, proof of delivery, and/or filing claims should the package become lost or stolen. Based on this risk, our customers that use Third Party Billing are encouraged to request “Signature Required” by any carrier to reduce their exposure.

The Gunfather's Shop does not warrant or guarantee any products. Any applicable warranties or guarantees are those offered by the manufacturer. Generally however, we are willing to help facilitate a return to the appropriate manufacturer. In some cases the manufacturer authorizes The Gunfather's Shop to provide a brand new item in place of a defective/damaged item. However in many cases the manufacturers prefer to handle their own returns directly with the reseller or consumer. For specific warranty information please contact our customer service department Monday thru Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. The Gunfather's Shop is not responsible for any freight fees, air shipping fees, or any other costs incurred during the return process. The Gunfather's Shop will gladly assist in merchandise returns, either directly or indirectly, for up to 30 days from the original purchase date only.

The Gunfather's Shop will provide replacement merchandise for "new-in-box" defective items. This includes items found to be defective prior to use within 7 days period of receipt. All such returns must be authorized prior to return. All return freight charges must be prepaid by the customer and are not refundable. Once an item has been used, or shows signs of use, the warranty is at the discretion of the manufacturer and not The Gunfather's Shop. Our customer service staff can assist you in contacting the manufacturer.
Non-defective returns must be authorized and are subject to a 5% restocking fee ($10 minimum). All return freight charges must be prepaid by the customer and are not refundable. Non-defective returns will either be credited or exchanged at the discretion of The Gunfather's Shop unless the warranty policy, as listed by the manufacturer, specifically outlines a different course of action. All ammunition sales are final. The Gunfather's Shop does not accept returns on ammunition purchases.
Special orders will not be eligible for return unless an established return can be made with the manufacturer. All costs incurred in processing such returns, plus a 15% restock fee, may be recharged at our discretion.
Please note that orders for quantities outside stockable norms may also fall into the special order category as they relate to returns.
